This might be an informal forum with next to no bio form and zero requirements, but we still want to be able to read what you're writing and have some fun. Our plot isn't the be-all end-all, and you don't have to touch either the musicians or the Society with a barge pole. All we ask is that you treat the English language with care and respect, as it would do to you if it weren't repeatedly smashing its head into the wall for every misspelt word and ill-considered apostrophe on the internet. There there, English. There there.
Examples of wrong:

The ebonite felid sauntered cavalierly into the settee, her limpid banner sussurating 'top her serene frame. 'Pon the velvet ambulated path she pounced, 'fore greeting yon distant shapes. "Hark and well met, compatriots in night's subtle embrace," she whispered, her voice the smooth lilt of a grating tractor engine.

Of course, I know from writing such things that it can be hilarious to purple-prose like it's going out of fashion, but do keep it to the OC boards. And, of course, there's no problem with characters talking like they're from a bad Gothic romance, or even a good one, provided that their owner doesn't role-play like that. You don't need to impress us with fancy vocables: impress us with... I have an image that sums this up perfectly. (This found in Nightfall's signature on Forest of Fate.)
